Information you give us

• Forms. When you use our contact or volunteer forms, you give us the details you type in, such as your name, email address, phone number and message. Our forms are provided by JotForm, which stores the submissions on our behalf.
• Email. If you email us, we receive your email address and message.
• Donations. Online donations are processed by PayPal, and employer-matched gifts by your employer’s giving platform (such as Benevity). We do not receive or store your card or bank details. We may receive your name, email address, donation amount and date for our records and receipts.

Information collected automatically

• Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, to keep the site secure and working.
• Analytics. If we turn on Google Analytics, it records how visitors use the site (pages viewed and links clicked) without advertising features or Google signals. We do not send form contents to analytics.
• Videos. YouTube videos load only when you press play, using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube’s own privacy policy applies once a video plays.

How we use information

• To reply to your messages and coordinate volunteers.
• To process and acknowledge donations and keep the records a nonprofit is required to keep.
• To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
• To keep the site secure.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We share it only with the service providers named above, as needed to run our programs, or when required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions and correspondence only as long as needed for the purpose they were sent for, and donation records as long as required for tax and accounting purposes.
