Our story
From a free café to two food trucks
Northwest SHARE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Seattle, founded in 1998.
In 2002 we found a home for My Sweet Lord, a free vegetarian café a short walk from the University of Washington, run by our volunteers. It closed in April 2015.
In April 2018 we began serving from a food truck. Today our two free food trucks bring hot meals to the University District, Redmond and Bellevue.
